CAMDEN - Graveside service for George Marion Glover, III, 60, will be held Saturday at 11:30 in Lugoff First Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Mr. Glover passed away unexpectedly at his home. Born in Hartsville, he was a son of the late George Marion Glover, Jr. and Eleanor King Glover. He retired from Dupont and Sears and was currently employed with Logan’s Appliance in Bishopville. He was a member of Lugoff First Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving are his daughters, Ginger Glover Caesar of Lugoff, and Greta Glover McAvoy (Emmanuel) of Lugoff; sisters, Connie Eubanks (Buster) of Jefferson, and Dawn Glover Patterson of Lugoff; twin brother, William L. “Bill” Glover (Linda) of Camden; younger brother, Bryan “Lex” Glover of Lugoff; and grandchildren, Nicholas Caesar, Benjamin Caesar, and Molly McAvoy.
