CAMDEN - Frances Elizabeth MacDougal, 84, died peacefully on the morning of April 28 at home. Born in Quincy, Mass. On November 12, 1925, she was a daughter of the late John and Ruth Armstrong Heaney. Frances lived and raised her family of 6 children in Rockland, Mass., until 1982 when they moved to Camden, S.C. She was a celebrant of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Camden. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Maurice L. MacDougal; children, Kathleen Helliwell (George) of Murrells Inlet, S.C., Michael L. MacDougal (Wanita) of Bethune, S.C., Maureen Caine (David Scott) of Elgin, S.C, Mark MacDougal (Sam George) of Surfside Beach, S.C., and Susan Murphy (Greg) of Ridgeway, S.C.; brother, Thomas Heaney of Ariz.; sister, Ruth Carney of Quincy, Mass.; 9 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. A loving wife and mother, she will be greatly missed by her family which was the greatest joy of her life Services will be private.
