We learned to love Jim when he served at Bethesda Presbyterian here in Camden. We were sorry to lose him then and even more so now that he has gone on to prepare us a way. He was a bright light of love, compassion, intellect and a wry
sense of humor. An all round fine person who will
be greatly missed by family and friends. And all this
applies to Dottie who was his best and finest friend.
All our love, Bob and Pat

May our heavenly Father give the family the needed comfort and strength to get through each day until the fulfillment of his Kingdom promises. (Matt.6:10) He will then replace all of our tears of pain and sorrow into tears of joy and happiness. (John 5:28,29; Acts 24:15; Rev.21:4)

Jim was not only our minister at Franklin but a very special friend. He made such a difference in our lives and the lives of our children, Lois Ann and Bruce. He performed Lois Ann's wedding. As Lance said, Jim was not just a minister, he was my buddy. I appreciated so having him to work with during my tenure as a Deacon and two terms as Trustee. Also,I could not have asked for a more understanding person during the period I served on the renovation and organ restoration committees. I will not miss him just now but always. He was a true friend in my life when I really needed one. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Dottie and your family.
