LUGOFF – Funeral service for Billy Michael Nelson, 43, will be held Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Lee will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Mr. Nelson died Friday, December 3, 2010. Born in Bamberg, he was a son of Marvin Lois Craft Nelson and the late William K. Nelson. He was employed with Hudson’s Hay Farm. He enjoyed tractors, fishing, going to the mountains and spending time with his grandchildren. He was an avid NASCAR Tony Stewart fan. Surviving are his wife, Dominica Nelson; daughters, Nikki Skillman (Jonathan) of Jacksonville, N.C., Katie Nelson (Charlie) of West Columbia, and Megan Nelson (Hunter) of Lugoff; Mark Buhlinger of Lugoff and Elysia Buhlinger of Lugoff; brothers, Charlie Nelson, Pete Nelson, Larry Nelson, William Nelson II, John Ellisor, and Lee Nelson; sisters, Norma Collins, Sally Nelson, Rose Wilson, and Mary Hegler; and grandchildren, Carson Bradwell, Cayleigh Skillman, and Kaydyn Bradwell.
