CAMDEN – Funeral Mass for Crestina Johanna Tidwell, 86, will be celebrated on Friday at 12:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Father Francis Travis will officiate. Final Commendation and Farewell Prayers will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The Rosary will be recited on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with visitation following 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Tidwell, wife of the late Bryant Jenkins Tidwell, died Tuesday, December 07, 2010. Born in Bristol, England, she was a daughter of the late Julian and Anna Maria Mari Staffieri. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, knitting, and playing the piano. Surviving are her daughter, Ann Fields of Camden; sons, Mike Tidwell of Lugoff, and Jeffrey Tidwell of Camden; sisters, Marie Vitolo of Rome, Italy, Louisa Shepherd of Bristol, England, and Anna Clemente of Bristol, England; grandchildren, Sonya Tidwell, Christina Tosh, and Courtney Whymer; and 7 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by sisters, Pauline Hope, Florence Batt, Marguerite Roberts, and Rita Phillips.
