CAMDEN - Funeral Mass for Gerardina Corona Cabot, 95, will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Final Commendation and Farewell Prayers will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Father Francis Travis will officiate. The Rosary will be recited on Friday at 5:30 p.m. with visitation following until 8:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Heart Association. Mrs. Cabot, wife of the late Michael Lawrence Cabot, died Monday, April 11, 2011. Born in Newark, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Giambattista and Ida Fiore Corona. She received her Master’s Degree in Psychology from Columbia University and served as a Child Psychologist for the Newark Public Schools for over 25 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Surviving are her sons, Richard Cabot (Liane Woodward) of Lake Oswego, Ore., Michael Cabot of Frenchtown, N.J., Henry Lewis Cabot (Mary DeBrock) of Mantua Ohio, Robert Stuart Cabot of Hinsdale, Ill.; sisters, Licia Kidd of Lugoff, S.C., Vera Mastrangelo of New York City, N.Y., Amy Schilder of Mountainside, N.J.; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her sons, John McElroy Cabot and William Roger Cabot; brothers, Frank Corona, and John Vincent Corona.
