Robbie Powers
Robbie's roots run deep in the community. He was born and raised in Kershaw County and is a graduate of Lugoff-Elgin High School. He is married to Teresa Pope Powers and they have a daughter, Gabby, and a son, Robert Allen Powers, Jr.
Robbie's professional experience is extensive. He is a graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service in Atlanta, GA. He began his career with Dunbar Funeral Home in Columbia, SC his senior year in high school and returned in 2001 to assume a funeral director's position. He was also responsible for overseeing daily operations at Dunbar.
In addition to his work at Dunbar, Robbie also worked for McMillan-Small Funeral Home in Myrtle Beach and Goldfinch Funeral Home in Murrels Inlet, SC. In his career he has gained a tremendous amount of experience and knowledge that will directly benefit the families that come to Powers Funeral Home from Kershaw County and beyond.

Teresa Powers
Teresa is a native to the Kershaw County Community. She is a graduate of Lugoff-Elgin High School and a graduate of Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC with a B.S. degree in Nutrition. She also completed a 12 month Nutritional Internship through the Department of Health and Environmental Control in Columbia, SC and is a Registered Dietitian through the American Dietetic Association. Teresa has worked in both public health and clinical roles counseling and helping with the needs of the communities throughout Horry, Richland and Kershaw Counties. Teresa feels that her professional and personal experiences gained through these roles has given her the knowledge and compassion to better serve and meet the needs of families who come to Powers Funeral Home.
Teresa is proud to be a member of New Life Christian Outreach Church in Lugoff and also a member of the Camden Chamber of Commerce.

Jonathan Proctor
Jonathan was born and raised in Kershaw County and is a graduate of Lugoff-Elgin High School. He went on to get a B.S. in Business Administration from Coastal Carolina University. After graduating from CCU, he took on a full time position as an apprentice under Robbie Powers at Powers Funeral Home in 2010. Jonathan then received an associate degree in funeral service and became a licensed funeral director in 2012.
Jonathan is married to Heather Stroud Proctor and they have four children, Mckenney, Erin, Hadley and J.D. He is a member of Bethel Worship Center and the Lugoff Masonic Lodge.

Angie Endres
Angie was born in Minnesota and attended the University of Minnesota, where she earned a B.A. in Sociology: Criminology, Law & Deviance and a B.S. in Mortuary Science. She was a funeral director in Minneapolis at the Cremation Society of Minnesota until moving to Ft. Hood, TX in 2005. There she worked at the Casualty Assistance Center where she received civilian awards, which include the Achievement Medal for Civilian Service and the Commander’s Award for Civilian Service. In 2013, her husband received orders bringing them to Fort Jackson, SC. She began working as a funeral director at Powers Funeral Home in May of 2016.
Angie is married to Jason and together they have five children, Haley, Hayden, Samantha, William and Victoria.

Gabby Powers Miller
Gabby was born and raised in the Kershaw County Community. She is the daughter of Robbie and Teresa Powers. Gabby is a graduate of Lugoff-Elgin High School and graduated from Piedmont Technical College in Greenwood, SC, with an associate degree in funeral services in 2024.
She is married to Aaron Miller of Elgin and they have two fur babies, Bruno and Cash.

J. Todd Horton
Todd was born and raised in Kershaw County and is a
graduate of North Central High School. He received a B.A. in Religion and
Philosophy from Charleston Southern University in Charleston, S.C. and a Master
of Divinity Degree from Southeastern Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC.
He was a senior pastor for 36 years before retiring from Elloree First Baptist
Church, Elloree, S.C. in 2022. He began as an apprentice at Powers Funeral Home in December of 2022.
He is married to Pam Horton, and they have 2 sons, Tyler and Hunter.

Joyce McDonald
Joyce was born and raised in Kershaw County and graduated from Camden High School. She graduated from Holmes Theological Seminary in Greenville, SC with a Bachelor of Sacred Literature degree. She previously served Kershaw County as Clerk of Court for 24 years. She joined the staff at Powers Funeral Home in February 2017. She is a very active member of New Life Christian Outreach in Lugoff.
She is the mother of 3 children, Kimberly Walden, Scott and Todd (Regina) McDonald and grandmother of Evan, Caleb, and Alyssa McDonald.
