LUGOFF – Graveside service for Mary Elizabeth Bowen, 78, will be held on Monday at 6:00 p.m. in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Eric Boone will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday 4:00-5:30 p.m. prior to the service at Powers Funeral Home. Mrs. Bowen passed away and went to be with her heavenly father on Thursday, June 16, 2016. Born in Winnsboro, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Daisy Branham. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church where she enjoyed her faith. She also enjoyed reading, family and friends. Surviving are her husband, Charles Spencer Bowen; daughter, Susan Myers of Lugoff; son, Garry Bowen of Lugoff; brothers, Donald Branham and Faye Branham; sister, Diane Branham. She was predeceased by son, Baby Bowen; brothers, Danny Boy Branham and Ernest Branham Jr.; and sisters, Geneva Branham, Cassie Pate, and Laura Lathan. She was a beloved mother and will be missed.
