LUGOFF – Funeral service for Nancy Vivian Blizzard Jeffers, 60, will be held on Friday at 4:00 p.m. at Concord Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Jimmy Hanf will officiate. Following the interment the family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Meyers-Thiel Animal Adoption Center, Concord Baptist Church or a charity of one’s choice. Mrs. Jeffers passed away on Monday, June 27, 2016. A life-long resident of the Lugoff-Elgin area, she was the daughter of the late James Rayford and Alma Jackson Blizzard and a graduate of Lugoff-Elgin High School class of 1973. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church. For more than 30 years she was in the dry cleaning industry and operated the Bag Lady in Lugoff for 20 years. Mrs. Jeffers was known for her outgoing spirit and love of life. She never met a stranger and smiled even on a bad day. Boating, motor cycle riding, shopping and spending time at the beach with her family and friends were her priorities. Left to treasurer her memories are her husband of 43 years, Robert Wayne Jeffers; sisters, Mildred B. Lilley and Ida Mae Himes; sister-in-law, Martha Blizzard; nieces and nephews, Norman Lilley, Howard Blizzard, Anthony Himes, Melissa Blizzard, Lynn Blizzard, Jeff Himes, and Robin Blizzard; numerous great nieces and nephews; and her fur babies, Pepper and Billy. She was predeceased by brother, Ernest Eugene Blizzard, McNeil Blizzard and James Wilbert Blizzard; and nephew, Jimmy Blizzard.
