LUGOFF – Funeral service for David Wayne Jackson, 55, will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Quaker Cemetery. The Rev. Dr. Charles Everett will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Jackson passed away Monday, July 4, 2016. Born in Irondale, AL, he was the son of Ruby Hosey Jackson and the late Tony Archie Jackson. David enjoyed fishing and cooking. Surviving are his son, Tyler Anthony Jackson of Cincinnati, OH; mother, Ruby Hosey Jackson of Lugoff; and sisters, Barbara Skeen (Larry) of Lugoff, Sandra Marshall of Tupelo, MS, and Cheryl Covington (Rick) of New Vienna, OH.
