LUGOFF – A celebration of life service for Carl Michael “Chuckie” Ray, 64, will be held Friday at 4:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Eric Boone will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3-4 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Mr. Ray passed away Saturday, July 23, 2016. Born in Lugoff, he was a son of the late Ralph Leslie and Betty Davis Ray. Mr. Ray enjoyed golfing and playing softball. Surviving are his siblings, Peggy Ray, Martin Ray (Kimberly), and Cleatus Ray (Cathi) all of Lugoff.
