CAMDEN – Mr. Reynolds passed away August 26, 2016. Born in Camden, SC, on November 9, 1933, he was the son of the late Thomas Jones and Betsy Reynolds Drakeford. He was a member of Plaza Church of Christ in Sumter and retired from DuPont after 24 years. He enjoyed fishing and traveling. Surviving are his loving wife of 60 years, Ruth C. Reynolds; children, Horace Reynolds, Jr., Gregory (Rose) Reynolds, Larry (Monda) Reynolds, Debra (fiancé, Randy Johnson) Wilkins, Lisa (Jack) Peters, Kim (Dennis) Jackson, and Opal Fulwood; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; and many cousins. He was predeceased by his son, Townsel Reynolds; son-in-law, Burnie Fulwood; and brother, George McKain. Mr. Reynolds will be buried at Fort Jackson National Cemetery on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
