ELGIN – Funeral service for David Duncan Ross, 68, will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Union Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Ross died Saturday, February 9, 2013. Born in Blaney, S.C., he was a son of the late Flem Henry and Nancy Coker Ross. Surviving are his son, David William Ross (Mendy) of Elgin; daughter, Crystal Ross Henson (Sean) of Greenville; brother, Fletcher Ross (Frances) Elgin; sister, Sally Brown of Elgin and Corrie Delk of Elgin; 8 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Marion Ross.
