CAMDEN – Rose Best Creech, 78, passed away Monday, September 26, 2016. Born in Franklin County, IN, she was a daughter of the late William Edward and Ruth James Best. Mrs. Creech was a member of First Baptist Church, Camden. She enjoyed making ceramics, quilting, and cross-stitch. Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Raymond Lloyd Creech; daughters, Gayle Watkins of Johnston, S.C., Kimberly Showler (Richard) of Crestview, FL; grandchildren, Ashleigh Showler, Richard Showler, Jr., David Royden Watkins, Jr.; and a sister, Sarah Best Cooper of Barnwell. She was predeceased by a brother, Harvey Best. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to KershawHealth Hospice.
