CAMDEN – Funeral service for Joseph Bryan Beasley, 17, will be held on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Hermitage Baptist Church with burial to follow in the family cemetery in Cassatt. The family will receive friends Saturday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Joe passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Camden, he was the son of Karla Beasley Meek. He was a student at Camden High School. He enjoyed Radio Control Cars and Air Planes, hunting, fishing, and kayaking. He was a member of the Camden Flyers. Surviving are his mother, Karla Leigh Meek (Richard Meek Jr.) of Camden; siblings, Ryan Ray, Tyler Riggins, and Breanna Malone; grandparents, Lenwood and Debra Beasley, and Richard and Debra Meek; special friends, Ashley Terebayza; and special cousin, Lauren Branham.
