CASSATT – Funeral services for Pickett Sutton, Jr., 71, will be held Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Cedar Cemetery. The Rev. Brenda Davis will officiate. Mr. Sutton passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2016. Born in Camden, he was a son of the late Pickett and Rosa Missouri Sutton, Sr. Surviving are his wife of 14 years, Beverly Renee Furman Sutton; children, Shirley Yvonne Hart of Cassatt, Yvette Sutton of Camden, Yedda Long (Robert) of Essex, MD, Kianna Davis of Columbia, Latoya Portee of San Antonio, TX, Michael Carter of Cassatt, Rashjohn Davis of Columbia, Kentrell Davis of Cassatt, Derek Portee of Savannah, Ga; siblings, Minnie Sutton of Columbia, Rosalie Perry of Elgin, Mable Brevard (Marion) of Columbia, Eliza Williams (John) of Columbia, Mirian Thomas (Ralph) of Camden, Edward Sutton of Columbia; 11 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by siblings, Johnny Sutton, Clarence Sutton, Betty Ann Sutton, and Sara Gene Adamson.
