CAMDEN – Funeral service for Billy Ray Small, Jr., 51, will be held Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Quaker Cemetery. The Rev. Jerry Gardner will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Small died Wednesday, February 13, 2013. Born in Camden, he was the son of the late Billy Ray, Sr. and Sylvia Ann Outen Small. He was an avid Gamecock football fan and also enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s ballgames. Surviving are his wife of 33 years, Cynthia Joyner Small; daughters, Renee Anderson (Mark) of Camden, Tracy Price (Jay) of Camden, and Bridgett Small of Camden; grandchildren, Justin Anderson, Brooke Anderson, Cole Small, Briley Ray, Amber Price, Madison Price, Drew Price, and Matthew Brian Small Jr.; and a sister, Sheila Tidwell (Phillip) of Camden. He was predeceased by a son, Matthew Brian Small Sr.
