Thomas Heyward Dropla CAMDEN – A graveside service for Thomas Heyward Dropla, 13 months, will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in Centerville Cemetery. Bishop Derick Swails will officiate. Thomas passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at his home surrounded by family. Born in Columbia, he is the son of Michael Nelson and Jessica Connell Dropla. Thomas is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Camden Ward. Surviving are his parents, Michael and Jessica Dropla of Camden; paternal grandparents, Frank and Gwen Dropla of Columbia; maternal grandparents, Foy and Sherri Connell of Lugoff; paternal great-grandparents, Billie Nelson of Elgin; maternal great-grandparents, J.C. and Izzy Connell of Camden, and Lillie and Charles Woodrow of Hopkins; and numerous other family. He was predeceased by paternal great-grandparents, Frank J and Sarah Dropla, and Lehman Nelson.
