LEXINGTON – Funeral service for Michael Bryan, 55, will be held Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. at Lugoff First Baptist Church. The Rev. Ken Reid and the Rev. Mike Cooke will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday 2:00-3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wounded Hero’s Hunting Camp (www.whhcamp.org) or the Ronald McDonald House. Mr. Bryan died on Wednesday, November 30, 2016. Born in Charlotte, N.C., he was the son of Amy Patricia Campbell Bryan and the late Wilson Jennings Bryan, Jr. He was a master plumber and an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed water skiing and snow skiing. Surviving are his wife, Kimberly Fletcher Groh; mother, Patricia Bryan of Lugoff; sons, Michael Jennings Bryan Jr. and John Robert Bryan (Meghan); step-daughter, Mackenzie Groh; sisters, Betsy Reid (Ken), Lynda Cooke (Mike) and Pam Barker (Jerry); and granddaughter, Marlee Bryan.
