COLUMBIA – A memorial service for Larry Rudolph Kelly, 65, will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The Rev Dr. Charles Everett will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Mr. Kelly passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2017. Born in Montgomery, Ala., he was the son of Mary Alice Stephens Ayers and the late Porter Lamar Kelly. He was the Operations Manager with Ed Robinson Laundry and Dry Cleaners. He enjoyed playing golf and riding motorcycles. Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Linda Carol Queen Kelly; his mother, Mary Ayers; daughters, Alisa Kelly Stokes (Michael) of Columbia, Stacey Kelly Johnson (Paul) of Lamar, and Shawna Kelly Woodley (Josh) of Lugoff; brother, Ronald Kelly of Leesville; and grandchildren, Madison Stokes, Samuel Johnson, Luke Johnson, Dalton Woodley, and Reagan Woodley. He was predeceased by his step-father, Archie Ayers; and brothers, Donnie Kelly, Wayne Kelly, and Sonny Kelly.
