Dorothy M. Popham, of Lugoff, passed away Thursday, 6, December 2007. Mrs. Popham was born Dorothy M. Salter on the 6th of June 1939 in Carshalton, Surrey, England. She was the daughter of Frederick George Lancelot Salter and Clara Marie Evelyn Scales. She immigrated to the U.S. in 1974 and has resided in Lugoff since 1976 where she was the owner of Dorothy’s Daycare for almost 30 years. She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She is survived by her husband, Tracy Popham, of Lugoff; her daughter, Sarah Boyce, three grandchildren, Vincent, Spencer and Amber, all of Lugoff; two brothers, David Salter of England, and John Hutchins of Canada; a sister, Audrey Davis of Canada and many nieces and nephews in England, Canada and the U.S. Memorial services will be held Sunday, 9, December 2007, at 3:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 34 Chestnut Ferry Road in Camden, SC.
