CAMDEN – Funeral services for Leila Burgess Reynolds, 94, will be held Wednesday at 3:00 p.m., at High Hill Truelight Church of Christ, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Dwain Watson and Lynwood Young will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Mrs. Reynolds, wife of the late Dalton Reynolds, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2017. Born in Lexington County, she was a daughter of the late George Simon and Estelle Kneece Burgess. Mrs. Reynolds was a member of High Hill Truelight Church of Christ. She enjoyed gardening, cleaning, and camping. Surviving are her daughter, Leila Catoe (Laval) of Camden; brother, John Henry Burgess; sister, Irene Fox; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Arthur Dalton Reynolds; daughter, Stella Reynolds Faile; 7 sisters; and 3 brothers.
