CASSATT – A time of gathering to celebrate the life of Theresa Elaine Alexander, 51, will be held on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Mrs. Alexander passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017. Born in Elgin, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Joseph M. Leonhard and Janet Marie Gordon Leonhard. She was a member of New Beginning Community Church of Elgin. She enjoyed quilting and was a member of Logan Lap Quilters. Surviving are her husband, Dane T. Alexander; children, Terry Alexander, Derrick Alexander and Tiffany A. Todd; sister, Susan Miller; brothers, Thomas Leonhard and William “Bill” Leonhard; and 7 grandchildren.
