LUGOFF – A service to celebrate the life of Carolyn Ruth Boyd Branham, 65, will be held on Thursday at 5:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the American Kidney Foundation. Mrs. Branham passed away on Monday, May 29, 2017. Born in York, she was the daughter of the late Harold Dennis Boyd and Marjorie Clark Boyd. She retired from Richland School District One where she was a Data Base Specialist. Mrs. Branham loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed sewing, embroidery and crafts. Surviving are her husband, Benny Lee Branham; son, James Branham (Casey) of Blythewood; sister, Sandra Boyd Allison; and grandchildren, Catalyn Truesdale and Carylee Branham.
