LUGOFF – Funeral services for Robert Wayne Jeffers, 70, will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Concord Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Steve Reynolds will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The family will be receiving visitors at the home of Wayne and Nancy Jeffers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Concord Baptist Church Youth Program, 2211 Porter Cross Rd, Lugoff, S.C. 29078. Mr. Jeffers, husband of the late Nancy Blizzard Jeffers, died Thursday, July 20, 2017. Born in Camden, he was a son of the late Howell Joe and Ruth Elmore Goff Jeffers. Mr. Jeffers was a member of Concord Baptist Church. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, doing yardwork, and cutting wood. Surviving are his fur babies, Pepper and Billy; sisters, Ida Anderson, Linda Okey, Frances Stradlin, Wanda Dixon; sisters-in-law, Mildred Lilley and Martha Blizzard; nieces and nephews, Norman Lilley, Howard Blizzard, Anthony Himes, Melissa Blizzard, Lynn Blizzard, Jeff Himes, Robin Blizzard, Hal Okey, Jeff Jeffers, Johnny Jeffers, James Giffin, Sonja Giffin, Patty Anderson, and Chris Dixon; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife; brothers, Edward and Steve Jeffers; niece, Vicki Anderson; and nephews, Jimmy Blizzard and Tony Tucker.
