LUGOFF – Graveside service for William Harold Funk, 82, will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Mr. Funk, husband of the late Nancy Elaine Morgan Funk, died on Wednesday, July 26, 2017. Born in Alliance, Ohio, he was the son of the late Harold J. Funk and Evelyn Green Funk. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired steel mill worker and enjoyed model trains, baseball and football. Surviving are his sons, William Harold Funk II and Matthew J. Funk; brother, Tommy Funk; sister, Carol McBride; grandchildren, Nicole Maria Boykin, Brittany Elaine Taulbee, Branden J. Funk and Steven Carl Atherton; and great-grandchildren, Reese Kane Boykin, Gabriel Nelson, River Maria Elaine Boykin and Elie A. Funk. He was predeceased by a daughters, Tina Maria Funk and Christian Funk; and Sister, Marge Snider.
