CAMDEN – Funeral service for Rosalee Lawhorne, 76, will be held on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Greenhill Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Lawhorne, wife of the late Melvin Lawhorne Sr., passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017. Born in Fairfield County, she was the daughter of the late Caleb and Queenie Bradley Johnson. Surviving are her children, Melvin Lawhorne Jr. (Ruby), Jeffrey Lawhorne (Martha), Rebecca Lawhorn (Willie), and George Lawhorne (Patricia); brothers, Leroy Johnson, Caleb Johnson and Ervin Johnson; sisters, Mary Lee, Marguerite Brown and Alberta Lawhorne; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Major Johnson, Willie Johnson, Johnny Johnson and Lewis Johnson; and sister, Hattie Mae Gripper.
