ELGIN – Funeral services for Hattie Ruthe Parker Woodle will be held at 12pm on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Northeast United Methodist Church with burial to follow at Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6-8pm at Powers Funeral Home. Mrs. Woodle passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at the age of 83. Born on July 28, 1934 in Garner, TX, she was the daughter of the late John Franklin and Willie Lois Elledge Parker. She was a member of Northeast UMC and was a loving wife and mother. Mrs. Woodle is survived by her husband, Clarence M. Woodle; daughter, Frances Ann Woodle; sons, Johnny Paul Woodle (Melanee) and Michael Ross Woodle (Tammy); 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Frank Parker. She was predeceased by her daughter, Marian Ruthe Woodle Dyer.
