LUGOFF – Funeral services for Tommy Derrick Roberts, 57, will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Faith Church of the Nazarene, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The Rev. Hoke Robinson will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday from 4-6 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Mr. Roberts, husband of Ruth Ann Becker Roberts, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017. Born in Lancaster, SC, he was a son of Thomas Roberts and the late Annie Rosevon Moree Roberts. Mr. Roberts was a loving husband, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. He was a painter most of his life and enjoyed spending time and fishing with his family. Surviving in addition to his wife are his brothers, Billy Roberts, Rickey Roberts (Sherry); sisters, Patricia Meadors (Jimmy) and Helen Nates (Herbert); 17 nieces and nephews, 23 great-nieces and nephews, and 5 great great-nieces and nephews; numerous 1st, 2nd and 3rd cousins; father-in-law, Allen Becker Sr.; brothers-in-law, Allen Becker Jr. (Susan) and Albert Becker (Shannon); his little puppies, Rambo and Daisy; and a special friend to him and his family, Carolyn Bowers. He was predeceased by his mother-in-law, Marjorie H. Becker; and sister-in-law, Mary Evon Roberts.
