CAMDEN – A service to celebrate the life of Julia Sturkie Morris, 67, will be held on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Jason Sturkie will officiate. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or KershawHealth Hospice. Mrs. Morris passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 20, 2017. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late Harry Frank Sturkie Sr and Doris Dunaway Sturkie. She enjoyed spending time in her yard and gardening. Her love was felt by her generosity in caring for others. Surviving are her husband of 48 years, Charles William Morris; daughter, Charlene L. Powers (Shawn) of Myrtle Beach; brothers, Carl Sturkie and Franklin Sturkie Sr.; sister, Virginia Yenny; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Harry Frank Sturkie Jr., Richard Sturkie and Philip Sturkie; and sister, Patricia Singleton.
