LUGOFF – Funeral service for Betty Lucile Branham, 88, will be held on Sunday, Sept 24 at 4:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Camden Ward, with burial to follow in Centerville Cemetery, Ridgeway. The family will receive friends Saturday, Sept 23 from 4-6 P.M. at Powers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Church. Mrs. Branham, wife of the late Alfred Samuel Branham passed away on Friday, September 22, 2017. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Bennie Lorin and Lucille Lee Hughes Easler. She retired from DuPont and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She enjoyed reading, gardening, crocheting, fishing, writing poetry and loved helping others. Surviving are her children, Paul Everett Branham (Katherine) of Camden, Timothy Gordon Branham (Catherine) of Columbia, Breta Lucille Chesley (Steve) of Helena, Montana, Bradford Keith Branham (Rita) of Elgin, and Alfred Samuel Branham, Jr. (Debbie) of Myrtle Beach; sister, Sarah Christine Fernsten (Dan) of California; 17 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, James Richard Branham; brother, Jack Easler; and sisters, Lorine Parrish, Ada Louise Webber, and Mildred Elouise Ellenburg.
