CASSATT – Funeral services for Sarah Louise Gaskins, 94, will be held on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Gaskins Family Cemetery, Cassatt. The Rev. John O’Cain will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Thiel-Meyer Animal Adoption Center. Mrs. Gaskins, wife of the late William Joseph Gaskins, passed away at home on Thursday, October 12, 2017. Born in Bethune, she was the daughter of the late Miron Joseph and Hattie Elizabeth Gardner Croft. She enjoyed country music. Surviving are her children, Janet Hinson of Jacksonville, Fla., Beverly Bradley of Camden, Barbara Campbell (William) of Lugoff, Terry Gaskins (Sandra) of Jayess, Miss., Dianne Bass (Shelborn) of Kershaw, Brenda Armentrout (Randy) Cassatt, and Danny Gaskins of Cassatt; brother, Walter Croft of Aiken; 19 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 10 great great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Ann Ray; son, Ronald Gaskins, grandson, Alan Branham; and brothers, Blease Croft, Clyde Croft and Little Henry Croft.
