CAMDEN – A service to celebrate the life of Corey David Shannon, 35, will be held on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. The Rev. Todd Horton will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Thiel-Meyers Animal Adoption Center. Corey passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Palmetto Health Richland. Born in Sidney, Ohio, he was the son of Albert Andrew Shannon and Brenda Monique Lemire Shannon. He was a courier with ACME Logistics. He enjoyed fishing, going to flea markets and his dogs. Surviving are his father, Bert Shannon of Nokomis, Fla.; mother, Brenda Shannon of Camden; brothers, Brian Leeth and B.J. Shannon; and numerous aunts and uncles.
