CAMDEN – Funeral Services for Eugenia Y. Hunter, 54, will be held Friday at 3:00pm at Powers Funeral Home, with Bishop Marvin Hodge officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Cemetery. Ms. Hunter passed away October 15, 2017. Born in Camden, SC, on March 30, 1963, she was the daughter of Evangelist Shirley Hunter Mayrant. Surviving are her children, Felicia (Sean) Hunter- Industrious and Nicholas Hunter; grandchildren, Tirek Pate, Armoni Jones, Chasity Industrious, Ny’ Via Brunson, Ny’ Lazia Brunson, Payton Johnson and Caylen Johnson; siblings, Abner (Desiree L.) Burroughs, Christine Jones, and Sandon Anthony (Yvette) Burroughs; nieces and nephews, Tiffany R. Burroughs, Abner J. Burroughs, Irvin D. Jones (Sarita), Edderic M. Jones, Vondel Addison, Amelia Gilmore, Nathan, La’ Vae, La’ Vea and Marc Burroughs; special friend, Tench “Mac” McMorris; god-daughter, Da' Notra Johnson;2 great-nieces; 1 great-nephew; and best friends, Eddie Jefferson and Tabitha Shannon. She was predeceased by her grandson, My’ Sun Industrious; and best friend, Gloria "Jeanie" Johnson.
