LUGOFF – A service to celebrate the life of Pearline Almelta Robinson, 93, will be held on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. at St. Matthews Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday 5-7 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Mrs. Robinson, wife of the late Jimmy Robinson, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017. Born in Kershaw County, she was the daughter of the late Carrie Williams Murphy. She was a member of St. Matthews Baptist Church and was a member of Irene White and the Gospeletts. Surviving are her children, Joseph Robinson, Douglas Robinson, Clarence Williams, Christine Williams, Shirley Robinson Hunter, Dennis Robinson; 18 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Russell Robinson; daughter, Susie Andrews; and sister, Irene White.
