CAMDEN – Funeral service for Jeanette Broadway Williams, 65, will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Gene Stokes will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Mrs. Williams passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2017. Born in Hartsville, she was the daughter of the late Steve Brice and Edna Horton Broadway. She retired from the Kershaw County School District at 24.5 years of service. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Mrs. Williams enjoyed sewing, fishing and most of all spending time with family, especially her granddaughter, Avery. Her love was felt by many as she desired to help others. Surviving are her husband of 40 years, Ronnie A. Williams; sons, Ronnie Allan Williams, Jr. of Camden and Billy Joe Williams of Camden; brothers, Larry Broadway and Steven Broadway; sister, Barbara Outen (Bruce); and granddaughter, Avery Eliza Williams. She was predeceased by a son, Bobby Allen Hall; and brother, Billy Broadway.
