ELGIN – Funeral services for Linda Richardson Sanders, 55, will be held Tuesday at 3:00 p.m.at Powers Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Old Fox Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Mark Sanders will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to David Sanders. Mrs. Sanders passed away October 26, 2017. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Billy Thomas and Inez Richardson. Mrs. Sanders enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Surviving are her husband of 38 years, David L. Sanders, Jr.; daughters, Rebecca Jackson (Jay) of Elgin, Leah Sanders of Elgin; siblings, Brenda Baughman (Ronnie) of Elgin, Randy Richardson (Kathy) of Elgin; Wanda Richardson of Elgin, Debra Richardson of Columbia; and grandchildren, Carolina Gambrell and Scarlett Jackson. She was predeceased by a brother, Timothy Allen Richardson, Sr.
