LUGOFF – A memorial service for Elizabeth Eva Walters, 93, will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to KershawHealth Hospice. Mrs. Walters passed away at home surrounded by family on Sunday, October 29, 2017. Born in Ruby, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Perry Rivers and Irene Moore Hinson. She was a cosmetologist and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Surviving are her daughter, Gail Walters of Kernersville; son, Ronnie Boykin (Kristal) of Lugoff; sister, Brenda Lawrimore of Hartsville; half-sister, Diane Ammons of Cheraw; 6 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and care giver and special friend, Curley Harris. She also leaves behind many good friends and neighbors. She was predeceased by a brother, William Rivers; and sister, Margie Windham.
