LUGOFF – Funeral services for Susie Mae Hollis, 64, will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Marion Bennett will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Mrs. Hollis passed away Saturday, November 4, 2017. Born in Lugoff, she was a daughter of the late Sheddie and Willie Mae Levy Jackson. Mrs. Hollis was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church where she once sang with the choir. She enjoyed doing puzzle books and watching TV. Surviving are her husband, David Hollis; siblings, Theodore Jackson (Octavia) of Lugoff, Mary Brevard (Leon) of Lugoff, Catherine Swinton (Ronald) of Lugoff, Alice Williams (Lester) of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and aunts, Joyce Chambers (James), Esther Jones, and Susie Jackson; and several nieces and nephews.
