CAMDEN – Funeral services for Virginia Marie Spitzer, 72, will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Lakeshore Church of God, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The Rev. Greg Rolland will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. at the church. Ms. Spitzer passed away November 12, 2017. Born in S.C., she was a daughter of the late George and Barbara Badger Spitzer. Ms. Spitzer was a member of Lakeshore Church of God where she was a faithful and very devoted member who loved her church. She enjoyed quilting and even taught quilting to some members of her church. Surviving are her sons, Phillip Cales of Myrtle Beach, Michael Cales of Cassatt, Ernest Cales of Myrtle Beach, Joseph Cales of Lugoff; brothers, Danny Spitzer, Russell “Rusty” Spitzer, Paul Spitzer; sister, Beth Aumock; 6 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Peggy Sorrell.
