LUGOFF – Funeral services for Amanda L. Horton, 34, will be held Sunday, November 19, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethany Baptist Church, with Rev. Todd Gandy officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Fostering Foster Animal Rescue in Camden. Miss Horton passed away November 16, 2017. Born in Lancaster, SC, on August 11, 1983, she was the daughter of the William Keith Young and Reba K. Horton. She was a member of Abney Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing and watching the Patriots and Gamecock Football. She loved her dog “Dari”. She was employed with McLeod Women’s Center. Surviving are her father, William Keith Young (Tammy); mother, Reba K. Horton (Bonnie Ackerman); sisters, Adrian Kayleen Horton and Carly Jane Young; step-siblings, Michaela Jones and Maddox Young; grandmother, Linda Darlene Young; aunt, Wendy Burriss (Johnnie); cousins, Katherine LuAnne Burriss and Samantha LuAnne Burriss. She was predeceased by grandparents, Charles R. Young, William L. Horton, Sr. and Betty B. Horton.
