ELGIN – Funeral services for Pamela Kay Jeffers Grigsby, 58, will be held on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Spears Creek Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Dean Reynolds will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Mrs. Grigsby passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017. Born in Columbia, S.C., she was the daughter of LaVerne R. Jeffers, Sr. and the late Sandra Barfield Jeffers. She enjoyed reading and shopping. Surviving are her husband, Darrell Grigsby; father, LaVerne Jeffers, Sr. of Elgin; children, Christopher (Sarah) Grigsby of Elgin, Matthew (Kelly) Grigsby of Lugoff, and 2LT Dylan Grigsby of El Paso, TX; grandchildren, Chayce Grigsby, Savannah Grigsby, Christopher “Creepy” Grigsby, Caroline Grigsby, Madison “Maddy” Grigsby, and Maverick Grigsby; brother, Verne Jeffers; and sister, Renee Wooten.
