ANDERSON – A celebration of life service for Kenneth Huram Baker, 73, will be held Sunday, March 24, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Quaker Cemetery. The Rev. Dr. Mark Bredholt will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:30 – 3:00 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Carolinas Jack Russell Terrier Club care of Martha Mulligan, 4000 Wesley Chapel Rd, Matthews NC 28104, or the American Cancer Society. Mr. Baker died Wednesday, March 20, 2013. Born in Camden, S.C., he was the son of the late Joseph Huram and Marie Thomas Baker. He graduated from Camden High School and received a Bachelors in Accounting from the University of South Carolina. He retired from Dupont, and was very involved in the Carolinas Jack Russell Terrier Club. He was a lover of life, and enjoyed spending time outside with his dogs and riding his motorcycle. Surviving are his daughter, Karen Baker Williamson (Ray) of Blythewood; son, Kevin Baker (Natalie) of Manassas, VA; grandchildren, Nicholas Williamson (Annie), Kayla Williamson, Gregory Williamson, Shaye Lyell (Daniel), Seth Baker, Kylie Baker, Kami Baker, Loren Johnson, Stephanie Johnson; great-granchild, Zofia Williamson; and a special friend, Sharon Vieira of Anderson.
