Obituary of Carol Taylor
ELGIN – A memorial service for Carol Ann Korn Taylor, 73, will be held on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Rowan Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends Thursday 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service in the church fellowship hall. Memorials may be made to KershawHealth Hospice.
Mrs. Taylor, wife of the late Chester Dwayne Taylor, passed away at KershawHealth on Sunday, December 24, 2017. Born in Wheeling, WV, she was the daughter of the late Robert Anton and Anna Wurtzbacher Korn. She retired from Southeastern Stages, Inc. (Grey Hound Bus Station) in Camden. She was a member of Rowan Presbyterian Church where she was active in Prime Timers, the Golden Girls and choir. Mrs. Taylor loved spending time with her family and friends, and serving others.
Surviving are her son, Daniel Dwayne Taylor (Cherie); Traci T. Boyles (Aaron); brother, Harold Lee “Bud” Korn (Elizabeth); sister, Linda Sue Korn Graham (Kershaw); sister-in-law, June Korn; grandchildren, Kayla Taylor, Ethan Robert Boyles and Seth Chester Boyles; great-granddaughter, Kinsley Carolina Grace Cole; and companion Carl Montanaro. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert “Bob” Korn.
