RIDGEWAY – Services for Sally Grace Kelly Peake, 54, will be held Thursday at 3:00 p.m. at Sawney’s Creek Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the Old Sawney’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Dean Reynolds and the Rev. Richard Humphries will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Mrs. Peake passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of J.B. Kelly and the late Merita Boone Kelly. Mrs. Peake was a member of Sawney’s Creek Baptist Church. She loved to talk with people and enjoyed cooking, crafts, and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her husband of 30 years, Bruce Edward Peake; sons, Curtis West (Monica) of Cassatt, Justin Peake (Brittany) of Blythewood; daughter, Sam Connell (Jeremy) of Kershaw; siblings, Martha “Cookie” Kelly of Rock Hill, Aris Kelly of Kershaw, James “Bobo” Kelly of Columbia, Zetta Hathaway (Scott) of Kershaw; grandchildren, Gretta West, Tanner Stephens, Hayley Russell, West Connell, Gauge West, Reed Peake; and father and mother-in-law, Charles and Connie Peake of Ridgeway. She was predeceased by a sister, Terita “Punk” Kelly.
