COLUMBIA – Services for Paul Keith Jones, 76, will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Spears Creek Baptist Church with burial to follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The Rev. Greg Sweet and the Rev. Ken Jackson will officiate. The Rejoicers Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Mr. Jones died Monday, March 25, 2013. Born in Harlan, Ky., he was the son of the late Abraham Lincoln and Demmie May Jones. He retired from the United States Army after 20 years of service. He was a member of Spears Creek Baptist Church and the VFW. He enjoyed gardening. Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Vera Mollenhauer Jones; step-son, Fred Holstein (Hannelore); and a niece, Sherry Perry (Leonard).
