CASSATT – Funeral service for Shirley Cynthia Johnson Baskins, 81, will be held on Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The Rev. Burch Kelly will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday 5-7 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Mrs. Baskins, wife of the late David “Harry” Baskins, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Thursday, March 01, 2018. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late Jacob Calhoun and Carolyn Cynthia Tidwell Johnson. Surviving are her son, Jack Baskins; daughter, Cynthia B. Clyburn; sister, Margie Johnson Baker (Frankie) and Jean Frost; brother, Harold Johnson; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Rachel Neal; and grandsons, Aiken A. “Loco” Abstance III and Little Freddy Clyburn.
