LUGOFF - Graveside service for Dorothy Peake Price, 78, will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Rev. Paul Miles will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday at Powers Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Price, wife of the late Henry S. Price, died Friday, October 24, 2008. Born in Elgin, she was the daughter of Alberta Medlin Peake and the late James Tillman Peake. She retired from Kershaw County Voter Registration. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and being outdoors. Surviving are her mother of Crosshill, S.C.; son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Anne Price of Lugoff; brother, Robert Peake; sisters, Margaret Kilcrease, Anne Trimnal, Barbara Bowen, and Carol Miller; and grandchildren, Davis Price, Ashley Price, and James Wade Moak Jr. She was predeceased by a son, Steve Price; brother, Harold Peake; and sister, Thelma Lund.
