CAMDEN - A celebration of life service for James O’Neil “Neil” Singleton, 65, will be held Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Mr. Singleton passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018. Born in Charleston, he was a son of the late Hal and Mary Elizabeth Corbett Singleton. Mr. Singleton enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, golfing, and building. Surviving are his daughter, Toni Campbell (Justin) of Camden; grandchildren, William Hicks, Anna Hicks, Josi Hicks, Gabriel Campbell, Jackson Campbell; his former wife and lifelong soul mate, Sharon Scheuch; sisters, Cynthia Singleton, Susan Gainey (Jeffery); and a brother, David Singleton; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Glen Singleton.
