LUGOFF – Funeral service for James “Buddy” Lee, 85, will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at High Hill Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. David Stratford will officiate. Mr. Lee passed away at home on Tuesday, March 27, 2018. Born in Blaney, he was the son of the late Ezell and Annie Bell Samuel Lee. He was a member of High Hill Baptist church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. Surviving are his sons, Andrew Lee (Iris) and James Lee Jr. (Willie Mae); daughter, Patricia Ann Ruff; step-children, Robert Lee Jones and Carolyn Myers; brothers, Cleveland Lee, Richard Outen, David Outen, and Melvin Outen; sisters, Catherine Brown (Roy), Geraldine Outen, and Sylvia Patterson (Hayward);14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren. He was predeceased by son, William Lee; brothers, Jessie Outen and Ezell Lee Jr.; and sister, Ethel Mae Bennett.
